January 20, 2023: Cloquet, MN 55720 Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida Ogichida (Cloquet, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bigfork Huskies (Bigfork, MN), 77-64 in a league bout.
With the win, Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Ogichida travel to Red Lake (Red Lake, MN) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Red Lake won 69-62 in their recent non-league bout against Blackduck (Blackduck, MN)
Next up, the Huskies play the Mesabi East Giants (Aurora, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Bigfork will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Giants go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 75-59 non-league loss to Cook County (Grand Marais, MN).
