January 20, 2023: Middletown, CT 06457 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Xavier Falcons (Middletown, CT) and the visiting Bristol Central Rams (Bristol, CT), saw Xavier's basketball squad hold off Bristol Central by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, Xavier improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Hamden (Hamden, CT) to play the Green Dragons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Green Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Hamden lost 73-72 in their recent non-league challenge against Greenwich (Greenwich, CT)
Next up, the Rams play the Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT) in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Bristol Central will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 87-49 league win over Avon (Avon, CT).
