January 20, 2023: Springfield, IL 62702 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Calvary Saints (Springfield, IL) and the visiting South County Vipers (Franklin, IL), saw Calvary's basketball squad overcome South County by a tally of 80-65.
With the victory, Calvary improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Saints host Litchfield (Litchfield, IL) to confront the Purple Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Purple Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. Litchfield won 64-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Ramsey (Ramsey, IL)
Next up, the Vipers confront the Barry Western Wildcats (Barry, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. South County will attempt to improve on its 13-11 season record.
