Delaware High School Basketball - Caravel trounces Tatnall
January 20, 2023: Wilmington, DE 19807 The Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE) basketball crushed the host Tatnall Hornets (Wilmington, DE), 80-47 in Friday's non-league test.
The Buccaneers (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Appoquinimink walloped Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE), 81-58, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Tower Hill for a Independent Schools test on Tuesday, January 24. Tatnall will encounter a Hillers squad coming off a 70-49 league win over Wilmington Friends (Wilmington, DE). The Hillers record now stands at 8-2.
