January 20, 2023: Marty, SD 57361 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Marty Indian Braves (Marty, SD) and the visiting Crazy Horse Chiefs (Wanblee, SD), saw Marty Indian's basketball squad overcome Crazy Horse by a tally of 70-62.
With the victory, Marty Indian improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Avon (Avon, SD) to confront the Pirates in a B Region 5 challenge on Monday, January 23. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Avon lost 51-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Centerville (Centerville, SD)
Next up, the Chiefs confront the Wakpala Sioux (Wakpala, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Crazy Horse will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Sioux come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 58-43 non-league win over Strasburg/Zeeland (Strasburg, ND).
