Tennessee High School Basketball - Dyer County tops Memphis Business Academy
January 20, 2023: Newbern, TN 38059 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN) and the visiting Memphis Business Academy Execs (Memphis, TN), saw Dyer County's basketball squad knock off Memphis Business Academy by a count of 57-46.
With the victory, Dyer County upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Choctaws host Northwest (Clarksville, TN) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Northwest won 60-43 in their recent league challenge against Kenwood (Clarksville, TN)
Next up, the Execs play the Memphis School of Excellence Eagles (Memphis, TN) in a 1A District 16 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Memphis Business Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 73-18 league loss to City University School of Liberal Arts (Memphis, TN).
