Kentucky High School Basketball - East Carter overwhelms Fairview
January 20, 2023: Ashland, KY 41102 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) and the host Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY), saw East Carter's basketball squad wallop Fairview by a tally of 85-64.
With the victory, East Carter improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Lawrence County (Louisa, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 23. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Lawrence County won 63-60 in their recent league challenge against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY)
Next up, the Eagles play the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) in a District 64 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Fairview will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Tomcats come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 58-55 non-league loss to Huntington (Huntington, WV).
