Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA), 59-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Edison upgrades its record to 16-7 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA) to play the Sea Kings in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Sea Kings come into the bout with a record of 14-8. Corona del Mar lost 67-48 in their recent non-league bout against Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA)

Next up, the Sailors play the Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Newport Harbor will attempt to upgrade on its 17-7 season record.
