January 20, 2023: New Matamoras, OH 45767 In Friday's league match, the host Frontier Cougars basketball team scored a good 60-43 triumph over the Toronto Red Knights.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Catholic Central Crusaders (Steubenville, OH) in a Ohio Valley AA match, on Tuesday, January 24. Frontier will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 7-9 record after their 57-48 non-league win over Madonna (Weirton, WV).
With the defeat, Toronto moves to 8-6 on the year. The Red knights host Edison (Richmond, OH) to face the Wildcats in a Buckeye 8 match on Tuesday, January 24. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 4-11. Edison lost 76-35 in their recent league match against Beaver (Lisbon, OH)
