Alaska High School Basketball - Haines fells Susitna Valley
January 20, 2023: Talkeetna, AK 99676 Haines Glacier Bears (Haines, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Susitna Valley Rams (Talkeetna, AK), 63-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Haines upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Glacier Bears host Craig (Craig, AK) to play the Panthers in a 2A Southeast bout on Friday, February 17. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-6.
Next up, the Rams play the Craig Panthers (Craig, AK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Susitna Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 34-29 non-league loss to Nenana (Nenana, AK).
