New York High School Basketball - Health Sciences Charter fells Lackawanna
January 20, 2023: Lackawanna, NY 14218 Health Sciences Charter Falcons (Buffalo, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lackawanna Steelers (Lackawanna, NY), 66-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Health Sciences Charter upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Western New York Maritime Charter (Buffalo, NY) to play the Commodores in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Commodores go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Western New York Maritime Charter lost 63-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Global Concepts (Lackawanna, NY)
Next up, the Steelers confront the Depew Wildcats (Depew, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County III challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Lackawanna will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 52-34 league win over Pioneer (Yorkshire, NY).
