Lafayette Central Catholic Knights (Lafayette, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Traders Point Christian Knights (Whitestown, IN), 51-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lafayette Central Catholic upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Knights host Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN) to clash with the Bronchos in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Bronchos go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Lafayette Jefferson won 76-65 in their recent league bout against Marion (Marion, IN)

Next up, the Knights clash with the International Gryphons (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Traders Point Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Gryphons go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 79-56 non-league loss to Riverside (Indianapolis, IN).
