Ohio High School Basketball - United fells Leetonia
January 20, 2023: Leetonia, OH 44431 United Golden Eagles (Hanoverton, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Leetonia Bears (Leetonia, OH), 39-21 in a league bout.
With the win, United upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Southern (Salineville, OH) to clash with the Indians in a Eastern Ohio bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Southern lost 54-53 in their recent non-league bout against Catholic Central (Steubenville, OH)
Next up, the Bears clash with the East Palestine Bulldogs (East Palestine, OH) in a Eastern Ohio bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Leetonia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 54-42 league loss to Valley Christian (Youngstown, OH).
