January 20, 2023: Lebeau, LA 70589 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Central Hurricanes (Lebeau, LA) and the visiting Opelousas Catholic Vikings (Opelousas, LA), saw North Central's basketball squad wallop Opelousas Catholic by a tally of 91-57.
With the victory, North Central improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Opelousas (Opelousas, LA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Opelousas won 52-40 in their recent league challenge against Livonia (Livonia, LA)
Next up, the Vikings confront the False River Gators (New Roads, LA) in a 1A District 6 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Opelousas Catholic will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record.
