Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Scranton nips North Pocono

Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA), 53-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Scranton upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA) to play the Buckhorns in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Buckhorns go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Wallenpaupack Area lost 62-61 in their recent non-league bout against Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Delaware Valley Warriors (Milford, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. North Pocono will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 66-43 league win over Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA).
