January 20, 2023: Spiro, OK 74959 The Pocola Indians basketball team scored 36 points and restricted the host Spiro Bulldogs to 25 in the Indians non-league victory on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wister for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Pocola will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 45-36 non-league win over Heavener (Heavener, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.
The Bulldogs (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Heavener (Heavener, OK). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Heavener dropped by Wister (Wister, OK), 45-36, in a non-league contest.
