January 20, 2023: Wellington, KS 67152 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wellington Crusaders (Wellington, KS) and the visiting Reno County HomeSchool Sabres (Hutchinson, KS), saw Wellington's basketball squad wallop Reno County HomeSchool by a tally of 60-24.
With the victory, Wellington improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Circle (Towanda, KS) to confront the Thunderbirds in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Circle won 59-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Buhler (Buhler, KS)
Next up, the Sabres confront the Mulvane Wildcats (Mulvane, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Reno County HomeSchool will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 54-51 non-league win over Chaparral (Anthony, KS).
