Iowa High School Basketball - East Sac County nips Alta-Aurelia
January 20, 2023: Lake View, IA 51450 East Sac County Raiders (Lake View, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA), 60-58 in a league bout.
With the victory, East Sac County upgrades its record to 3-11 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Woodbury Central (Moville, IA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-10. Woodbury Central lost 55-42 in their recent league bout against Ridge View (Holstein, IA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA) in a Twin Lakes bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Alta-Aurelia will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 74-52 league win over South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA).
