January 20, 2023: Cayuga, TX 75681 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX) and the host Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), saw Frankston's basketball squad overcome Cayuga by a tally of 41-25.
With the victory, Frankston improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a 2A Region III District 19 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-15. Cross Roads lost 76-29 in their recent league challenge against Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Kerens Bobcats (Kerens, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Cayuga will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 2-18 record after their 55-21 league loss to LaPoynor (LaRue, TX).
