Illinois High School Basketball - Curie holds off Rowe-Clark
January 20, 2023: Chicago, IL 60632 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Curie Condors (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Rowe-Clark Masai Lions (Chicago, IL), witnessed Curie's basketball squad nip Rowe-Clark by a margin of 38-34.
The Condors (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Juarez (Chicago, IL). The Eagles go into the Chicago Public - White South/Central test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Juarez got by Chicago Academy (Chicago, IL), 39-20, in a non-league test.
The Masai Lions now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Noble Street College Prep for a Noble test on Monday, January 23. Rowe-Clark will encounter a Golden Tigers squad coming off a 31-29 league loss to Rauner (Chicago, IL). The Golden Tigers record now stands at 4-5.
