Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars (Salem, SD), 50-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Flandreau upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Fliers travel to Parker (Parker, SD) to play the Pheasants in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Pheasants come into the bout with a record of 0-7. Parker lost 59-27 in their recent league bout against Lennox (Lennox, SD)
