Louisiana High School Basketball - Huntington crushes North DeSoto
January 20, 2023: Stonewall, LA 71078 Huntington Raiders (Shreveport, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA), 63-14 in a league bout.
With the win, Huntington upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Raiders host Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 17-6. Woodlawn-B.R. won 53-21 in their recent non-league bout against St. John (Plaquemine, LA)
Next up, the Griffins play the Washington Lions (Shreveport, LA) in a 4A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. North DeSoto will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 52-25 league win over Bossier (Bossier City, LA).
