South Dakota High School Basketball - Lennox fells Platte/Geddes
January 20, 2023: Platte, SD 57369 Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD), 52-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lennox upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Orioles travel to Madison (Madison, SD) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Madison lost 64-43 in their recent non-league bout against St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD)
Next up, the Black Panthers play the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats (Kimball, SD) in a A Region 5 bout, on Monday, January 23. Platte/Geddes will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Wildkats go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 56-34 league loss to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD).
