Oregon High School Basketball - Marist overwhelmed by Springfield
January 20, 2023: Eugene, OR 97401 The Springfield Millers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Marist Spartans to 25 in the Millers non-league victory on Friday.
The Millers now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thurston for a 5A Midwestern contest on Tuesday, January 24. Springfield will battle a Colts team coming off a 45-39 league loss to Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR). The Colts record now stands at 9-8.
The Spartans (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Junction City (Junction City, OR). The Tigers come into the 4A Sky Em contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Junction City triumphed over North Bend (North Bend, OR), 51-24, in a league contest.
