The Silver Lake Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Ottawa Cyclones to 32 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Fe Trail for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Silver Lake will battle a Chargers team coming off a 56-35 non-league win over Wabaunsee (Alma, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 10-1.

The Cyclones (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Osage City (Osage City, KS). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Osage City was routed by Mission Valley (Eskridge, KS), 46-27, in a non-league contest.
