In Friday's league match, the host Potts Camp Cardinals basketball team scored a decisive 63-36 triumph over the Palmer Dragons.

In their next game, the Cardinals meet the New Site Royals (New Site, MS) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 23. Potts Camp will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Royals enter the match with a 20-5 record after their 65-42 league loss to Belmont (Belmont, MS).
