Fans at Friday's league challenge between the West Lafayette Red Devils (West Lafayette, IN) and the host Tipton Blue Devils (Tipton, IN), saw West Lafayette's basketball squad hold off Tipton by a tally of 55-48.

With the victory, West Lafayette improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN) to confront the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 11-10. McCutcheon won 48-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Western (Russiaville, IN)

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the University Trailblazers (Carmel, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Tipton will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record.
