Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - Austin Prep held off by Roxbury Latin
January 20, 2023: West Roxbury, MA 02132 In Friday's league challenge, the Roxbury Latin Foxes (West Roxbury, MA) ice hockey team nipped the visiting Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA), by a margin of 2-1.
The Foxes now possess a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Portsmouth Abbey for a challenge on Saturday, January 21. Roxbury Latin will play a Ravens team coming off a 2-2 league Pingree (South Hamilton, MA). The Ravens record now stands at 6-6.
The Cougars (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Pomfret School (Pomfret, CT). The Griffins come into the challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Pomfret School was edged by Milton Academy (Milton, MA), 6-4, in a league challenge.
