Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Chariho knocks off Exeter-West Greenwich
January 20, 2023: West Greenwich, RI 02817 The Chariho Chargers trounced the host Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights ice hockey squad by a tally of 7-1 in Friday's league bout.
With the victory, Chariho betters its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI) to confront the Northmen in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Northmen go into the bout with a record of 3-7. North Smithfield lost 4-0 in their recent league bout against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI)
The Scarlet Knights now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ponaganset for a Division 2 contest on Sunday, January 22. Exeter-West Greenwich will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Chieftains record now stands at 5-4.
