January 20, 2023: Houston, TX 77411 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Alief Elsik Rams (Houston, TX) and the visiting Nimitz Cougars (Houston, TX), saw Alief Elsik's soccer squad triumph over Nimitz by a count of 5-0.
The Rams now hold a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Strake Jesuit for a 6A Region 3 District 23 test on Tuesday, January 24. Alief Elsik will meet a Fighting Crusaders squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Northbrook (Houston, TX). The Fighting Crusaders record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Nimitz drops to 2-4 on the season. The Cougars host MacArthur (Houston, TX) to meet the Generals in a 6A Region 2 District 14 test on Wednesday, January 25. The Generals come into the test with a record of 5-0. MacArthur won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Klein (Klein, TX)
