Illinois High School Basketball - Pinckneyville knocked off by Benton
January 20, 2024: Benton, IL 62812 The Benton Rangers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Pinckneyville Panthers to 44 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Rangers now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carterville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27.
The Panthers (16-6) will now prepare for their contest against Steeleville (Steeleville, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Steeleville was defeated by Waterloo (Waterloo, IL), 62-53, in a non-league contest.
