Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Northampton thwarts Blue Mountain
January 20, 2024: Northampton, PA 18067 The Northampton Konkrete Kids (Northampton, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA), 63-52 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Konkrete Kids (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Emmaus (Emmaus, PA). The Hornets go into the Lehigh Valley test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Emmaus notched a victory over Whitehall (Whitehall, PA), 54-40, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Panther Valley for a Schuylkill County 1 test on Tuesday, January 23. Blue Mountain will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 72-43 league win over Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-5.
