The Meridian Warriors basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Borah Lions to 58 in the Warriors league victory on Saturday.

The Warriors now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Capital for a 5A Southern Idaho contest on Wednesday, January 24. Meridian will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 61-58 league loss to Centennial (Boise, ID). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-5.

The Lions (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Middleton (Middleton, ID). The Vikings come into the 5A Southern Idaho contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Middleton prevailed over Mountain View (Meridian, ID), 48-43, in a league contest.
