Iowa High School Basketball - Cascade fells Wilton
January 20, 2024: Wilton, IA 52778 Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wilton Beavers (Wilton, IA), 94-75 in a league bout.
With the win, Cascade upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Bellevue (Bellevue, IA) to clash with the Comets in a River Valley bout on Monday, January 22. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Bellevue won 89-83 in their recent league bout against Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA)
Next up, the Beavers clash with the Prince of Peace Prep Irish (Clinton, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Wilton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Irish go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 69-60 league loss to Marquette (Bellevue, IA).
