January 20, 2024: Saginaw, MI 48603 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers (Saginaw, MI) and the visiting Central Wolves (Bay City, MI), saw Nouvel Catholic Central's basketball squad wallop Central by a count of 70-47.
With the victory, Nouvel Catholic Central upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host St. Louis (St. Louis, MI) to play the Sharks in a Tri-Valley - Blue challenge on Friday, January 26. The Sharks come into the challenge with a record of 2-8.
Next up, the Wolves play the Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI) in a Saginaw Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 66-56 league loss to Saginaw (Saginaw, MI).
