Oklahoma High School Basketball - Nowata tops Chouteau-Mazie
January 20, 2024: Chouteau, OK 74337 Nowata Ironmen (Nowata, OK) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats (Chouteau, OK), 60-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Nowata upgrades its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Ironmen host Ketchum (Ketchum, OK) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 12-3. Ketchum lost 68-46 in their recent non-league bout against Sequoyah (Claremore, OK)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Liberty Tigers (Mounds, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Chouteau-Mazie will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 67-50 non-league win over Riverfield Country Day (Tulsa, OK).
