The Cottage Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Varsity Opponent to 58 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cougars now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Atlanta Area School for the Deaf for a Atlanta Athletic contest on Tuesday, January 23. Cottage will battle a Panthers team coming off a 66-18 non-league loss to Atlanta Jewish Academy (Atlanta, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-5.
The (281-1083) will now prepare for their contest against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Swamp Owls enter the 4A District 9 contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy was nudged by South Plaquemines (Buras, LA), 62-56, in a non-league contest.
