Iowa High School Basketball - Davis County topped by Danville
January 20, 2024: Danville, IA 52623 The Danville Bears basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Davis County Mustangs to 43 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bears now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mediapolis for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Danville will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 69-52 non-league loss to West Burlington (West Burlington, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-5.
The Mustangs (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Rockets come into the South Central contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont prevailed over Albia (Albia, IA), 62-54, in a league contest.
