New Jersey High School Basketball - Delbarton holds off DePaul Catholic
January 20, 2024: Wayne, NJ 07470 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Delbarton Green Wave (Morristown, NJ) and the host DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ), saw Delbarton's basketball squad hold off DePaul Catholic by a tally of 64-63.
With the victory, Delbarton improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Green Wave travel to Morristown (Morristown, NJ) to confront the Colonials in a Northwest Jersey - American challenge on Monday, January 22. The Colonials come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Morristown lost 69-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Don Bosco Prep Ironmen (Ramsey, NJ) in a Big North - United challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. DePaul Catholic will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Ironmen come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 89-76 league win over Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ).
