Illinois High School Basketball - Riverside-Brookfield holds off Fenwick
January 20, 2024: Riverside, IL 60546 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) and the visiting Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL), saw Riverside-Brookfield's basketball squad hold off Fenwick by a tally of 63-59.
With the victory, Riverside-Brookfield improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Westmont (Westmont, IL) to confront the Sentinels in a Metro Suburban challenge on Monday, January 22. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Westmont won 67-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL)
Next up, the Friars confront the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers (Aurora, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Fenwick will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 57-40 league win over Providence-St. Mel (Chicago, IL).
