Wisconsin High School Basketball - Pewaukee tops Franklin
January 20, 2024: Pewaukee, WI 53072 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pewaukee Pirates (Pewaukee, WI) and the visiting Franklin Sabers (Franklin, WI), saw Pewaukee's basketball squad knock off Franklin by a count of 71-52.
With the victory, Pewaukee upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host West Allis Central (West Allis, WI) to play the Bulldogs in a Woodland - West challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. West Allis Central won 66-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Martin Luther (Greendale, WI)
Next up, the Sabers play the Racine Case Eagles (Racine, WI) in a Southeast challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 63-36 league win over Racine Horlick (Racine, WI).
