Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Mary knocked off by Jesuit
January 20, 2024: Natchitoches, LA 71457 The Jesuit Blue Jays basketball team scored 45 points and held the host St. Mary Tigers to 33 in the Blue Jays non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Blue Jays now sport a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Cross for a 5A District 9 bout on Tuesday, January 23. Jesuit will play a Tigers squad coming off a 77-65 league loss to St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 13-10.
Next up, the Tigers play the Northwood Gators (Lena, LA) in a 1A District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. St. Mary will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Gators go into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 52-48 league loss to LaSalle (Olla, LA).
