Alaska High School Basketball - South Anchorage overwhelmed by Ketchikan
January 20, 2024: Anchorage, AK 99516 The Ketchikan Kings basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host South Anchorage Wolverines to 35 in the Kings non-league victory on Saturday.
The Kings now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Juneau-Douglas for a 4A Southeast contest on Friday, January 26. Ketchikan will battle a Crimson Bears team coming off a 40-33 non-league win over Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK). The Crimson Bears record now stands at 8-7.
The Wolverines (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds come into the 4A Cook Inlet contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Bettye Davis East Anchorage was routed by St. Joseph (Santa Maria, CA), 74-47, in a non-league contest.
