Iowa High School Basketball - Lewis Central fells Madison East
January 20, 2024: Council Bluffs, IA 51503 Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Madison East Purgolders (Madison, WI), 55-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lewis Central upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Titans travel to Malcolm (Malcolm, NE) to clash with the Clippers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Malcolm won 51-43 in their recent non-league bout against York (York, NE)
Next up, the Purgolders clash with the Madison La Follette Lancers (Madison, WI) in a Big Eight bout, on Saturday, January 20. Madison East will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 75-61 league loss to Middleton (Middleton, WI).
