New York High School Basketball - The Leffell School overwhelms Montfort Academy
January 20, 2024: Hartsdale, NY 10530 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the The Leffell School Lions (Hartsdale, NY) and the visiting Montfort Academy Knights (Mount Vernon, NY), saw The Leffell School's basketball squad wallop Montfort Academy by a tally of 73-42.
With the victory, The Leffell School improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Haldane (Cold Spring, NY) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 22. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Haldane won 83-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Greenburgh-North Castle (Dobbs Ferry, NY)
Next up, the Knights confront the Gorton Wolves (Yonkers, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Montfort Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
