Illinois High School Basketball - Northridge nips Niles Notre Dame
January 20, 2024: Niles, IL 60714 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Northridge Knights (Niles, IL) and the visiting Niles Notre Dame Dons (Niles, IL), saw Northridge's basketball squad hold off Niles Notre Dame by a tally of 41-40.
With the victory, Northridge improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Knights host Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL) to play the Caxys in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Caxys come into the challenge with a record of 5-13. Lake Forest Academy lost 68-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Fort Wayne Canterbury (Fort Wayne, IN)
Next up, the Dons play the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Niles Notre Dame will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Corsairs come into the challenge with a 9-14 record after their 50-39 league loss to St. Patrick (Chicago, IL).
