Mississippi High School Basketball - Yazoo City tipped by Pascagoula
January 20, 2024: Pascagoula, MS 39567 The Pascagoula Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Yazoo City Indians to 59 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hancock for a 6A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Pascagoula will meet a Hawks team coming off a 56-51 league loss to Picayune (Picayune, MS). The Hawks record now stands at 11-12.
The Indians (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS). The Wolves enter the 5A Region 2 contest with a 18-4 record.
