January 20, 2024: Silo, OK 74701 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Silo Rebels (Silo, OK) basketball squad felled the visiting Varnum Whippets (Seminole, OK), by a margin of 80-68.
The Rebels (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Atoka (Atoka, OK). The Wampus Cats go into the non-league outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Atoka was beaten by Eufaula (Eufaula, OK), 57-44, in a non-league outing.
The Whippets now own a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sasakwa for a Little River outing on Tuesday, January 23. Varnum will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 63-61 league win over Mason (Mason, OK). The Vikings record now stands at 10-8.
