Iowa High School Basketball - Wapsie Valley can't hold off Turkey Valley
January 20, 2024: Fairbank, IA 50629 The Turkey Valley Trojans basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Wapsie Valley Warriors to 68 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Trojans now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crestwood for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. Turkey Valley will battle a Cadets team coming off a 71-50 league loss to Waukon (Waukon, IA). The Cadets record now stands at 1-12.
The Warriors (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Oelwein (Oelwein, IA). The Huskies enter the North Iowa Cedar - East contest with a 4-9 record.
