California High School Basketball - Benicia overwhelms Bethel
January 20, 2024: Vallejo, CA 94591 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) and the host Bethel Jaguars (Vallejo, CA), saw Benicia's basketball squad wallop Bethel by a tally of 57-33.
With the victory, Benicia improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Campolindo (Moraga, CA) to play the Cougars in a challenge on Monday, January 22. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Campolindo lost 47-32 in their recent league challenge against Acalanes (Lafayette, CA)
Next up, the Jaguars play the El Cerrito Gauchos (El Cerrito, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Bethel will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record.
